Northwestern Medicine is seeking a General Administrative Undergraduate Intern for Summer 2027 in Chicago. This 40 hours per week internship offers a hands-on opportunity to learn hospital operations and complete meaningful projects within NMH.

Interns will develop professional relationships, engage in intern development activities, and transition responsibilities with department managers at internship close, while adhering to NM policies and guidelines.

• Completion of at least the sophomore year of study.

Responsabilités

• Develop a working knowledge of hospital operations to a degree that allows successful completion of projects supporting a variety of hospital operations.
• Successfully complete projects and work tasks as assigned.
• Develop working relationships with staff and management that allows for successful business interactions across all levels of the organization.
• Participation in activities designed for development of interns during their assignment at NMH.
• Full communication with department managers and staff in order to successfully transition work at close of internship.
• Additional duties, responsibilities and tasks will be outlined to meet the needs of the internship.
