Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Finance Process Owner to lead end-to-end accounting processes, governance, integration, and continuous improvement across cross-functional teams in Overland Park, Kansas. This role focuses on process ownership, design, documentation, controls, and performance metrics to drive efficiency and scalable growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in accounting/finance operations or related field.
• Experience mapping, documenting, and improving end-to-end processes.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional projects and transformation initiatives.
• Ability to translate observations into prioritized improvements and solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting processes end to end, including governance, execution standards, documentation, integration, controls, and continuous improvement.
• Map current-state and future-state process flows; identify bottlenecks and handoff gaps.
• Partner with Global Process Owners, Development, Finance, Technology, and other cross-functional teams to standardize and optimize processes.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process maps, playbooks, training materials, governance routines, and supporting documentation.
• Define and monitor process performance metrics, evaluate trends, and report progress to leadership.
• Lead change-management activities, stakeholder engagement, training, readiness, and adoption planning.
