Glovis America, Inc. is seeking a Finance Supervisor for AHQ in Irvine, CA. The role focuses on financial analysis, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for AHQ subsidiaries.

You will help validate new business plans and M&A, building robust financial models and improving internal controls. The position requires 5–8 years in Accounting/Finance, a Bachelor's degree, and strong Excel skills. Travel up to 20% is expected; bilingual Korean skills are a plus and CPA/CFA candidacy is

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support financial reporting and its processes of subsidiary companies under AHQ under direction of supervisor.
• Develop and optimize templates and channels for reporting and monitoring requirements.
• Prepare monthly AHQ business performance reports including financial results, key metrics, and variance analysis.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends and variances, and present insights to senior management.
• Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with corporate goals.
• Support month-end close for subsidiaries as needed.
• Develop and maintain financial models for planning, scenario analysis and business cases.

Summary
The Supervisor - Finance of Americas Head Quarter ("AHQ"), plays a key role in supporting financial analysis and reporting processes of subsidiary companies under AHQ, development and implementation of improvement plan for internal controls over such financial analysis and reporting processes. The Supervisor is also responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting process, while supervising subsidiaries to ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial information. The Supervisor collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to validate and review new business plans and M&A opportunities and perform analysis and due diligence, including assessing business assumptions and building financial models.Compensation

$74,500 - $84,000 yearly salary range. (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Responsibilities

• 1) Supporting financial reporting and its processes of subsidiary companies under AHQ under direction of his or her supervisor:
• Conduct financial analysis and reporting processes to ensure they achieve their strategic business goals and financial reporting requirements
• Develop and optimize templates and channels that can effectively and efficiently achieve various reporting and monitoring requirement
• Prepare monthly AHQ business performance reports including financial results, key metrics, and variance analysis
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends and variances, and present insights and recommendations to senior management
• Identify deficiencies in and improvement opportunities of such processes for individual subsidiaries or between subsidiary companies and provide guide and support
• Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with corporate goals
• Support month-end book closing process for subsidiaries as needed
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, scenario analysis, and business cases

Traveling domestic and internationally up to 20%
