Weyerhaeuser is seeking a Finance and Planning Manager to partner with Distribution teams in Houston, TX and San Antonio, TX. You will manage financial aspects, drive planning, and oversee internal controls to support top-quartile performance across sites.

The role emphasizes collaboration with sales, operations, and supply chain leaders, leveraging data to inform strategic decisions and foster operational excellence across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Five years of experience in financial or manufacturing operations.
• Comfortable working with sales, operations, finance, and accounting teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead and manage change.
• Working knowledge of cost accounting, financial systems, and internal controls.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Excellent PC skills, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Owns and monitors financial aspects for the sites.
• This includes monthly reporting, annual planning, and capital analysis.
• Owns internal control environment to ensure it is operating effectively.
• Actively involved in strategic discussions with site lead team.
• Uses data and analysis to identify opportunities and support decision making.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams across sales, operations and finance.
