Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a Senior Financial Manager to act as the primary finance partner to the Chief Risk Officer and risk leadership. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, investment analysis, and expense management while translating complex data into strategic executive recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent education and related training.
• Ten years of relevant accounting or finance experience that includes complex financial analysis.
• Ability to provide leadership to support division manager and Executive leadership.
• Strong understanding of business strategies and processes; ability to build consensus.
• Strong verbal and written communication to interpret financial analysis for partners.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Sound decision-making abilities and leadership in a team.
• Familiarity with GAAP and proficiency in MS Office; financial modeling experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates across the Finance division to ensure integrity of the financials and sound controls.
• Lead and mentor the Financial Management team; review work and promote diverse, inclusive culture.
• Identify and resolve technical, operational, risk, and strategic challenges; communicate solutions to leadership.
• Lead annual planning with LOBs, budgeting, and coordination between Corporate Planning and LOBs.
• Coordinate CCAR and Stress Test data submissions and provide feedback to LOBs.
• Provide financial support and manage special projects, including executive presentations and strategic planning.
