Job summary

GHD is seeking a Finance Business Partner - Project Control to join our US team. This role collaborates with FMs, PMs, PDs and senior stakeholders to drive financial performance, provide insights, and support month-end close and reporting.

Based in multiple US offices with a preference for the Northeast, this position offers a hybrid work model. You will analyze project profitability, assist in pricing, budgeting, and ensure compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting or business.
• Advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive financial performance by influencing, analyzing, interpreting and communicating key performance indicators.
• Provide trusted financial advice to key stakeholders to align business direction and financial strategies.
• Assist in preparation of financial reporting and provide valuable analysis and insights.
• Assist in Pricing / Commercial Analysis support for project proposals and projects.
• Analyze actual vs budgeted expenses on the Profit and Loss Statement and explain variances.
• Support the Finance Manager with month-end close processes to ensure accurate results.
• Support annual budgeting and provide forecasts.
• Analyze project setup and work breakdown structures for complex projects.
• Raise and mitigate key business risks to optimize performance.
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure internal/external compliance.
