Forma Life Sciences, a California-based CDMO, is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support day-to-day accounting with a primary focus on Accounts Payable, while assisting Accounts Receivable and month-end close. You will work across departments to maintain accurate records and ensure timely processing of transactions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of accounting experience with hands-on AP and GL responsibilities.
• Experience supporting Accounts Receivable, cash management, and month-end close is preferred.
• Working knowledge of fundamental accounting principles and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle Accounts Payable: invoice processing, approvals, coding, and entry.
• Process weekly payments by ACH, check, wire, and other methods with documentation.
• Reconcile vendor statements and key AP GL accounts; assist with 1099s and vendor reporting.
• Support Accounts Receivable activities: invoicing, cash applications, reconciliations, and cash reporting.
• Assist month-end close, including journal entries, variance analysis, and schedule preparation.
