Job summary

Broadridge is seeking a detail-oriented reconciliation specialist to manage daily to monthly client account reconciliations. You will compare data across multiple systems, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies within agreed timelines.

In this role, you will maintain logs, support process controls, and work with Operations, Compliance, and Technology to resolve issues. The position requires strong Excel skills and the ability to work independently in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, accounting, or related field.
• 2+ years in reconciliation, transaction processing, or finance operations.
• Solid understanding of reconciliation concepts and controls.
• Experience in high-volume, deadline-driven environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel and familiarity with operational systems or workflow tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform reconciliations for client accounts, processes, or transaction streams daily to monthly and ad hoc.
• Compare data across systems to identify mismatches, breaks, and exceptions.
• Investigate variances and follow procedures to resolve discrepancies on time.
• Track open items, aging issues, and escalate when needed.
• Maintain logs, audit trails, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure output meets SOPs, client requirements, and internal controls.
• Review data for completeness and accuracy before finalizing output.
• Coordinate with Operations, Compliance, and Technology to resolve issues.
• Escalate complex or high-risk issues promptly to leadership.
• Identify recurring errors and support root cause analysis and improvements.
• Contribute to process improvements and onboarding of junior staff.
• Assist in preparing operational reports on volume and productivity.
