The GEO Group in Boca Raton, FL seeks an Assistant Business Manager to oversee accounting functions, budgeting, and related financial operations. You will provide fiscal reporting, assist with payroll/compliance, and supervise staff to ensure accurate financial processes and controls.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with at least three years of finance experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with common accounting software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field with at least 3 years of finance experience.
• Ability to lead and work cooperatively with staff and management.
• Proficiency with computers and standard department software.

Responsibilities

• The Assistant Business Manager analyzes and monitors the annual budget for the facility.
• Monitors contractual staffing plans and overtime; coordinates with the Director of Business Management.
• Prepares and analyzes financial data for budget reports and management requests.
• Directs the work of other employees including hiring, training, and evaluations.
• Maintains records for fixed assets and manages AP through accounting systems.
• Performs payroll audits, reviews, and approvals of financial records.
