Job summary

Tri-Town School Union in Boxford, MA invites applications for the Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Operations. The role oversees budgeting, accounting, purchasing and financial reporting across Boxford, Middleton and Topsfield to maximize resources for student learning.

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Education or Business Administration, DESE credentials or certifiable status, and demonstrate proven leadership, communication and collaboration with school boards,

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will possess a Master’s Degree in Education or Business Administration.
• Certified or Certifiable under the DESE requirements as an Assistant Superintendent and/or School Business Administrator.
• Experience in a position of similar or comparable responsibilities.
• Supervisory experience including inclusive leadership.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of finance, operations, and education administration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting for three towns, accounting, purchasing, and financial reporting.
• Manage areas such as accounting, transportation, and food services.
• Provide sound fiscal leadership and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support administrators and school boards with data-driven decision making.
