Job summary

Simplified Real Estate is seeking an Accounting leader to own month-end close, GL reconciliations, AR/AP workflows, internal controls, and financial reporting systems. Lead a team of 3–6 and build scalable finance operations with clear standards and accountability.

The role requires strong technical accounting expertise, decisiveness, and a focus on audit-ready processes that support rapid growth and reliable reporting across a 1,300+ unit portfolio.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of accounting or finance operations experience.
• Proven experience leading a finance or accounting team with KPI setting and performance reviews.
• Experience owning month-end close, GL reconciliations, AR/AP workflows, and GAAP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close, general ledger reconciliations, AR/AP workflow architecture, internal controls, and financial reporting systems.
• Lead a team of 3–6, define process, establish standards for accuracy and accountability.
• Build audit-ready finance operations scalable to growth and ensure timely, compliant reporting.
