Job summary

Compass Group, North America is seeking an Operations Controller in New York, NY to support accounting activities across assigned accounts. This role includes preparing financial statements, managing reports, and analyzing results to ensure accuracy and compliance within the financial landscape.

The perfect candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a minimum of five years of relevant experience, preferably in the foodservice industry. Benefits include medical, dental, retirement plans, and more.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience with revenue control and financial reporting.
• Experience with cash handling responsibilities required.
• Ability to analyze financial results and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform reconciliation and analysis for balance sheet accounts.
• Track monthly P/L and balance sheet activity.
• Complete financial reports, including fiscal close and audit reporting.

Skills

Accounting experience in foodservice or retail industry

Ability to prepare monthly financial statements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical and organizational skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
