Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking an Operations College Co-op to support financial activities at our Oxford Forge facility in Michigan. This co-op role offers hands-on experience in financial processes, CIP projects, and general accounting within a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with financial reports, GL reconciliation, month-end close, AP/AR, data entry, and cross‑functional collaboration. 25 hours/week, with a December 2027 graduation deadline.

Qualifications

• Enrolled fulltime in a Bachelor's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Operations or related field.
• Graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Available to work a minimum of 25 hours/week, year-round.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior ERP experience (PLEX) is a plus.
• Interest in manufacturing operations and finance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow).
• Support tracking and monitoring of CIP budgets, expenditures, and project status.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Conduct data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
• Collaborate with departments to gather financial information and support decisions.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes.
