BerkleyNet in Manassas, VA seeks a Finance Operations & Analytics Analyst to improve financial visibility, efficiency, and reporting. You will connect finance, operations, and data to support FP&A, process standardization, and scalable dashboards using Excel, SQL, and Power BI.

The role emphasizes detail, cross-functional collaboration, and practical improvements in both financial insight and operational execution.

Qualifications

2+ years in finance, FP&A, analytics, or related function.
Financial analysis, KPI reporting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
Experience with Excel and BI tools to create dashboards and reporting solutions.
Exposure to structured data and SQL or data extraction skills.
Ability to document processes and identify inefficiencies and improvements.
Strong communication to summarize findings for stakeholders.
Excellent organization with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Support analysis of financial and operational performance across processes and activities.
Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reporting to explain performance trends, risks, and opportunities.
Assist with forecasting, planning, and variance analysis by linking activity to outcomes.
Help track KPIs to improve visibility into finance operations.
Map, review, and improve finance-related processes, controls, and data dependencies.
Document current-state processes and assist in implementing improvements.
Build scalable tools and dashboards to support decision-making.
