Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke LLP is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance team, oversee internal reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, and drive process improvements. The role requires deep accounting knowledge, strong analytical skills, and experience with ERP/GL and BI platforms.

You will partner with senior leadership to translate strategy into actionable financial plans, manage multiple offices, and ensure timely, accurate financial information for decision making.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A or related analytical roles, preferably in law or professional services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related business discipline required.
• Proven leadership of analysts or staff; strong Excel and BI skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and govern daily operations of the finance team and prepare internal reports.
• Develop financial models, budgets, forecasts, and KPIs for firm, offices, and practice groups.
• Provide insightful analysis to senior leadership; translate data into actionable guidance.
• Oversee recurring reporting and ensure data accuracy and consistency with Accounting/IT.
• Drive process improvements and finance transformation, including automation.
