Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in New York is seeking a Finance Manager to lead long- and short-term forecasting for Sponsored Products, build financial models, and drive strategic growth initiatives. You will partner with business and finance leaders to evaluate opportunities, analyze data, and deliver actionable insights for executive decision-making.

The role requires 5+ years in finance/analytics, a relevant degree (MBA/CPA preferred), and strong SQL/ETL and data-mining tool experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance, accounting, or related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, tax, economics, or a related analytical field.
• 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying root causes and creating escalation plans.
• 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analyses, and recommendations.
• MBA or CPA.
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL.
• Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and financial systems (Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results.

Responsibilities

• Own the long and short term forecasting for Sponsored Products.
• Assist in developing new advertising products by evaluating the business, understanding customer needs and value drivers, and crafting growth strategies.
• Partner with the Sponsored Product Ads business team to anticipate requirements, trends, variances; develop action plans; measure results; identify opportunities.
• Manage financial and operational performance metrics and provide clear commentary for leadership (e.g., Monthly Business Reviews).
