Job summary

Sony Music Entertainment is seeking a Finance Manager to partner with the Assistant Controller overseeing financial operations with a focus on Artist Royalties and Accounts Receivable. You will drive variance analysis and recommend corrective actions to improve performance and ensure accurate settlements.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, 2–3 years of experience in a fast-paced close process, and strong Excel and SAP/BO proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 2–3 years of proven accounting experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with SAP Business Objects/BPC and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Owns ownership of Royalty Statements and reconciles revenue and expenses across departments.
• Researches GL activity, prepares journal entries, and analyzes monthly financial reporting.
• Assists with Month end close and AR collections.
