Job summary

Sony Music Entertainment is seeking a Finance Manager in Nashville to oversee royalty statements and AR, with a focus on variance analysis and action-oriented improvements. You will support month-end close, analyze performance, and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure accurate settlements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting and 2–3 years of accounting experience, with proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 2–3 years of proven accounting experience in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with financial systems and tools (SAP BO/BPC preferred).
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own royalty statements and reconcile revenue, COGS and expenses for settlements.
• Research GL activity in QuickBooks-like environments, prepare journal entries and monthly reports.
• Support month-end close and accounts receivable collection and invoicing.
• Coordinate across departments to resolve data discrepancies and exceptions.
• Contribute to special projects as assigned.
