Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Finance - Reporting & Compliance in Winston-Salem. This role leads a finance team responsible for reporting, accounting, budgeting support, audits, grant/contract reporting, and financial analysis.

You will collaborate with finance leadership and stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, compliant processes, and timely insights that support strategic decisions and organizational priorities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Finance Operations, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong analytical, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills; able to work without supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clear information delivery.
• Advanced or expert Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with Power BI preferred.
• Experience with Great Plains preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing finance team overseeing reporting, accounting, budgeting, audits, and grant/contract reporting.
• Develop metrics and processes to monitor team performance and efficiency.
• Coordinate internal and external financial reporting for subsidiaries, treasury, leases, and GAAP.
• Assist VP of Finance in budgeting processes and departmental budget control.
• Provide analytical insights during monthly and annual close and prepare data for leadership discussions.
• Serve as liaison with auditors and coordinate all required audits.
