Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Our client is a fast-growing, private equity-backed software business focused on delivering innovative solutions in the service supply chain market. We are committed to driving operational excellence and strategic growth as we continue to expand our market presence. We are seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to join our finance team and play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy and supporting disciplined growth.

Position Overview:

The Finance Manager will oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, reporting, and business partnering efforts. They will provide key insights to the executive team to inform business decisions. This role is essential for ensuring the company meets its financial goals, with a focus on long-term growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software industry financials, experience in private equity environments, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes to ensure accuracy and strategic alignment.
  • Coordinate with accounting during monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including Business Reviews, variance analyses, and executive summaries.
  • Partner with Business Units to develop budgets and forecasts, analyze operational results, and assess performance.
  • Support Board and Lender presentations and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide financial analysis, reporting, and ad-hoc insights to private equity partners.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and recommend improvements for performance and efficiency.
  • Implement best practices in financial planning and reporting, leveraging technology and automation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Finance or FP&A within a software or tech company.
  • Experience in private equity-backed environments is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling skills, and proficiency in Excel and financial software (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce).
  • Proven ability to develop financial strategies that drive growth.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience with M&A and post-acquisition integration is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and adept at managing multiple projects in dynamic environments.

Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 salary plus 10% bonus
