Amazon is seeking a proactive Finance Manager for the R2L Sub Same Day Delivery Finance team. The role focuses on owning forecasting, reconciliation, and long-range planning to guide investments and expansion. It requires strong analytical skills to assess profitability of new offerings and initiatives.

Candidate will partner with executives and cross-functional teams globally, leveraging data and AI to drive strategic decisions and performance metrics across the business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan.
• 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations with measurable impact.
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL.
• Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools and financial systems (Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis, and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Own and strengthen finance and reporting processes including forecasting and reconciliation.
• Build the long-range business plan guiding investments and expansion.
• Support customer-centric propositions with financial rigor.
• Leverage AI to build decision frameworks and turn data into faster decisions.
• Identify metrics that reveal how to improve business economics.
• Design and maintain performance measurements with cross-functional partners.
