Job summary

Amazon is seeking a superstar Finance Manager to support the Gen AI finance team within AWS. You will own the P&L, drive annual operating plans, service P&Ls, and monthly/quarterly reviews while partnering with product, engineering, sales and business development to shape strategic direction.

The role demands strong financial modeling, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with clear communication to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science) or 5+ years in quantitative role.
• 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy.
• 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy.

Responsibilities

• Build out and enhance P&L models, develop business insights and KPI dashboards, and lead ad hoc analyses.
• Support new business initiatives/products/feature launches; understand cost models and drive pricing decisions.
• Provide revenue deep analytics and communicate effectively to senior business team leaders.
• Take the lead in financial planning and analysis; build complex financial models and tools for forecasts and performance.
• Manage financial controllership, lead reviews of metrics, analyze variances, and present drivers to senior management.
