Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown is seeking a Finance Manager in Training (MIT) to develop leadership and management skills within a luxury hotel finance environment. The program includes hands‑on training, departmental rotations, and mentorship to prepare for an Assistant Manager role.

Responsibilities cover daily accounting operations, financial reporting, audits, budgeting, and resident/staff support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with proficiency in English.
• High attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving mindset.
• Computer literacy including MS Word, Excel, and email/internet usage.

Responsibilities

• Support daily accounting operations across general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and cashiering functions.
• Assist with preparing and analyzing financial reports and maintaining accurate records.
• Reconcile daily revenue transactions, deposits, credit card payments and intercompany accounts.
• Help maintain and reconcile operating, reserve, and investment bank accounts.
• Support month‑end close activities, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with annual budgeting and financial forecasting; support residents and staff with inquiries.
