Job summary

Rubrik is seeking a Finance Manager for GTM to own financial reporting to finance and sales leaders and to manage headcount and T&E expense. You will support annual planning, bookings forecast, and key performance analysis with high visibility to senior management.

You will lead ad hoc analyses, collaborate across Sales Ops, Recruiting, and Finance, and mentor junior analysts to build scalable processes that drive business performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills.
• Excellent analytical and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships with key partners.

Responsibilities

• Own headcount management and collaborate with Sales Ops and Recruiting to maintain accurate source of truth for actuals & forecasts.
• Construct & present monthly and quarterly review of various pillars in the CRO and CBO’s org to Sales and Finance Executive Leaders (Bookings by Product / team; Expense by type / team; RoI/Cost-benefits ratios).
• BvA explanations to Finance Executive Leaders.
• Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis for senior management to review and improve business performance.
• Mentor junior analysts and establish repeatable processes for training.

Finance Manager, GTM

The Finance Manager will be a key member of the Go-To-Market Finance team. Reporting to Director Finance, they will own financial reporting to finance and sales leaders. They will manage Headcount, T&E expense, and support key deliverables like annual planning, bookings forecast, BvA analysis, monthly/quarterly financial reporting and ad hoc analysis of the business. From day one, this role and their work will have high visibility and impact to the senior management at Rubrik.

This position will be based in Palo Alto, California and will require in-office attendance 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Own headcount management and collaborate with Sales Ops and Recruiting to maintain accurate source of truth for actuals & forecasts

• Construct & present monthly and quarterly review of various pillars in the CRO and CBO’s org to Sales and Finance Executive Leaders

  • RoI/Cost-benefits ratios and other KPIs of various supporting orgs

• BvA explanations to Finance Executive Leaders

• Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis for senior management as needed to review and improve business and financial performance

• Mentor junior analysts on the team, and construct independent processes that support your work, that analysts can be trained on

Essential Skills & Experience

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to work well in cross-functional teams and build strong working relationship with key partners
• Demonstrated abilities to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines with efficiency and accuracy

It is helpful, but not required to have

• Experience with Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, Salesforce, Tableau, Workday, Coupa
• Prior experience managing headcount and conducting BvA calls (Budget vs Actual)
• Experience with sales bookings plan, expense plan, sales headcount ratios

US Pay Range

$141,300—$211,900 USD
