Job summary

Amentum seeks a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations for government contracts, including tracking, reporting, and adherence to budgets. The role supports CONUS-based operations in the Washington, DC area, with occasional travel to OCONUS locations as needed.

Responsibilities include CLIN database maintenance, vendor invoice reconciliation, and forecasting option-year budgets. Strong Excel/Access skills and a TS clearance are required to start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and at least five years of government-contract financial management experience.
• Experience with tracking, reporting, and analyzing cost performance on government contracts.
• Knowledge of CLINs, LOE, and cost-type contracts.

Responsibilities

• Apply accounting principles to track and analyze financial data and prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for customers.
• Monitor financial adherence to customer requirements and budgets.
• Develop and maintain a CLIN database for all contract purchases.
• Reconcile and approve vendor invoices for payment.
• Forecast option year budgets and review cash requirements.
• Administer LOE and cost-type contracts.
• Ensure security clearance requirements and CONUS-based operations compliance.
