Amazon's North America Trans Buildings Finance team seeks a Finance Manager to strengthen controllership across NACF, AMZL, and related networks. You will build global controls frameworks and partner with worldwide operations to deliver accurate, timely financial insight.

In Nashville, you will influence partners, design scalable processes, and drive cost optimization while ensuring compliance through governance across multiple systems and teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
• 5+ years of finance experience, or Master's degree and 3+ years of finance experience
• MBA, or CPA (preferred)
• 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
• 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL
• Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
• Experience supporting the implementation of controls or contributing to audits over financial reporting environments

Responsibilities

• Influence business partners, provide sound recommendations, and manage competing priorities in a rapidly changing environment; demonstrate analytical skills and strong communication with worldwide operations leadership
• Perform monthly and quarterly reviews of the fixed asset ledger for completeness and accuracy; execute corrective actions as needed
• Build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results and drive improvements across Amazon
• Collect and analyze quantitative data to develop reports that drive cost reductions
• Identify opportunities to resolve defects; improve, scale, or simplify finance tools across teams
• Design and build processes to improve automation and scalability that can be replicated
