Job summary

Kodiak Robotics, Inc. in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Finance Manager to lead FP&A, investor relations, corporate development and strategy in a fast‑paced startup.

You will wear many hats and help us build the financial backbone for our business, balancing rigorous analysis with proactive action. The role starts as an individual contributor but is expected to evolve into team leadership as the company grows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of corporate FP&A experience, ideally at a publicly traded tech company.
• Advanced financial and business modeling.
• Ability to analyze complex topics, visualize data, and deliver actionable insights.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization.
• Strong accounting and systems aptitude.
• Startup experience.
• Experience with Pigment.
• Cost accounting experience and SAP supply chain experience.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in running and enhancing the company’s FP&A processes, including monthly, quarterly, annual, and long‑range planning.
• Partner with various functions of the business to provide financial perspectives around commercial opportunities and investments.
• Create detailed financial models including forecasts of revenue streams, expenses, cash flows, and capital structure.
• Produce recurring and ad‑hoc analysis and reporting of performance versus plan and KPIs.
• Assist in developing and implementing an FP&A system.
• Participate in finance and accounting processes, such as quarterly close and public company reporting, and contribute to process improvement.
