Job summary

Bloomberg Industry Group in Arlington, TX seeks an FP&A leader to coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and strategic projects across flagship products. You will build schedules, manage cross-functional plans, and maintain financial models and reports to drive spend optimization and business insights.

The role requires 7+ years in FP&A or strategic finance, strong analytics, proficiency in Excel and BI tools, and experience with ERP/PM software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7 years’ direct experience in financial planning and analysis, business analytics, or corporate/strategic finance.
• Experience in program/project management.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to handle large data and summarize findings.
• GAAP knowledge and financial analysis tools (trend/variance).
• Knowledge of PM principles, schedules, and PM tools.
• Ability to coordinate projects independently under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with PM software (Smartsheet/Asana/MS Project).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle/SAP).
• Experience with workflow/analytic tools (SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx).
• Salesforce/Workday is a plus.
• Experience in subscription-based business is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gain financial and operational understanding of the business to deliver end-to-end financials solutions.
• Develop and manage schedules for budget and forecasting cycles across stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with key business contacts for end-to-end solutions.
• Maintain structured financial models, reports, templates, and version control.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain documentation for budgeting, forecasting, investments and workflows.
• Drive and manage ad-hoc projects or analyses for strategic initiatives.
