Job summary

Kraft Heinz is seeking a Finance Manager, FP&A - Operations to lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost-savings initiatives across the BU. You will drive reporting, analyze variances, and deliver insight to guide pricing, margin growth, and strategic planning with cross-functional partners.

The role requires strong analytical skills, 5+ years in FP&A, and experience with ERP/systems such as Hyperion and SAP. This position offers a competitive total rewards package and a clear path for leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/economics or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Proficiency in Power BI, SQL and Power Query.
• 5+ years of experience in a complex FP&A environment with escalating responsibilities.
• Strong analytical skills and broad business acumen; excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as advocate in FP&A, financial reporting and process improvement opportunities.
• Lead budget, forecast and monthly/annual results processes across the BU.
• Prepare standard and ad-hoc end-to-end analyses to identify savings opportunities.
• Lead Internal Review preparation and presentation to BU CFO and Head of Operations.
• Review risks and opportunities with the business and support mitigation strategies.
• Attend BU meetings and collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Controllership, S&OP.
• Coach, develop and prioritize FP&A team members.

Finance Manager, FP&A - Operations at a Glance....

The Finance Manager, FP&A will be a key finance role to support the Company's efforts on delivering Business Unit Margin growth and sustainability through visibility on cost savings initiatives as well as inflationary/deflationary environments to allow for cohesive pricing plans. The Finance Manager t akes a leadership role in the budget, forecast, and results processes on a monthly and annual basis as well as working across the organization to create and implement optimal processes and tools. Additionally, this person initiates analytical projects to identify savings opportunities.

What's on the menu?

• Serve as an advocate in financial planning and accounting matters (e.g., financial reporting, cost allocations) and process improvement opportunities


• Key Point of contact and support for selected Business Unit


• Maintain reports of actual and expected business performance


• Establish and maintain reporting cadence


• Support accurate P&L and publishing of financial presentations ranging from consolidated financials, flash reports, and other reports necessary to help drive optimal decision making for the BU and Zone CFO, as well as the Head of Operations for the Zone and BU


• Prepare standard and ad-hoc end to end analysis, driving insight on business gaps to plan and benchmarks


• Lead the Internal Review preparation and presentation to their relevant Business unit CFO and Head of Operations, as well as the Annual Operating Plan budgeting process, and strategic plan for this Business


• Review regularly with the business to identify risks and opportunities, and mitigation of risks


• Attend business unit meetings, helping to represent Finance when needed


• Liaise with other functional groups supporting the business, including Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Accounting / Controllership, S&OP, and others to identify issues impacting the business and develop recommendations for improvement.


• Assist in the coaching and development of FP&A team

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and/or advanced degree in Accounting, Mathematics, Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field (MBA is an Asset)


• Ideal Candidate is proficient in Power BI, SQL and Power Query


• 5+ years' experience, in a complex environment with escalating levels of responsibility


• Strong technical and systems orientation (experience with Hyperion/FiT, PaPM and SAP) desired


• Prior Function, Category, Corporate FP&A and/or BU experience preferred


• Demonstrated strong analytical skills and broad business acumen


• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently


• Ability to work autonomously and think independently


• Ability to coach, develop and help team prioritize


• Excel technical skills along with systems agility

New Hire Base Salary Range

$104,200.00 - $130,200.00

Bonus

This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
