Job summary

Crawford Thomas Recruiting is assisting a logistics-focused client in Miami, FL to recruit a hands-on Finance Manager/Senior Finance Manager. The role blends FP&A with accounting, partnering with U.S.

sales and operations leadership to drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. You will manage cash, oversee statutory accounts, support system integrations, cost reductions, and process improvements during a growth phase.

Qualifications

• Experience as Finance Manager, Senior Finance Manager, Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or Controller in an operational business.
• Strong FP&A experience including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and operational finance.
• Strong accounting foundation with experience overseeing financial reporting and controls.
• Strong numerical aptitude and analytical/problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to understand business drivers and translate financial data into actionable recommendations.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must successfully complete a numerical assessment.

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis for the U.S. business.
• Partner with sales and operations leadership to understand business drivers and provide financial insight.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, forecasts, and management reporting packages.
• Analyze financial results, trends, margins, costs, and business performance.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital, cash management, and purchasing controls.
• Oversee financial reporting, accounting controls, and the accuracy of financial transactions and records.
• Prepare statutory accounts for U.S. entities and oversee year-end audit preparation.
