AIR Communities is hiring a Finance Manager for our East Operations Team in Bethesda, MD. This in-office role focuses on analyzing critical Operations Finance data to drive revenue and reduce costs, and supports budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

You will guide regional leaders on financial performance, participate in monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and capital planning, and assist with acquisitions and significant transactions as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Finance and Operations.
• Strong business writing skills.
• Experience with SQL Server and databases is a plus.

AIR values relationships and the benefits from working side by side with teammates, therefore this position will be in-office 5 days a week to support the team.

Job Description

We are hiring a Finance Manager to join our East Operations Team in Bethesda, MD who will:

• Prepare, review, and analyze critical Operations Finance data to increase revenue and minimize costs.
• Diagnose complex situations, and present possible solutions to business leaders.
• Responsible for guiding regional leaders on financial performance, providing direction and support for maintaining budget responsibility.
• Participate in monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and multi-year strategic planning.
• Tackle challenging problems in support of company financial and analytics disciplines (i.e. FP&A, Capital Planning, Revenue Management, Decision Support, Acquisitions).
• Assist with analysis related to significant transactions such as property sales, acquisitions and capital expenditures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Finance and Operations. Real Estate experience is a plus.
• Strong business writing skills
• Experience with SQL Server and databases is a plus
