Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Finance Manager for OPD Headcount to drive headcount cost measurement, ROI analysis, and financial modeling that informs product development and engineering strategy. You will partner with Product development and horizontal engineering teams to build robust financial frameworks supporting operating plans and quarterly guidance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business or equivalent experience
5+ years in tax, finance or related analytical field
5+ years in multiple finance and accounting roles
Experience building financial/operational reports for decision-making

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain financial models, metrics, and scorecards for month-end and operating plan cycles
Lead month-end close, variance analysis, and provide commentary to senior leadership
Analyze data to identify trends, ROI, and productivity metrics for new products
Collaborate with FP&A across sales and marketing to improve reporting and explanations
Work with finance tech partners to improve reporting infrastructure and automation
