Job summary

Amazon NACF Finance is seeking a Finance Manager to partner with operational and functional leaders and own financial planning, reporting, and modeling. You will build analyses, drive weekly/monthly reviews, forecast, and improve controls with a focus on data integrity and scalable finance tools.

You will work with senior partners to deliver insights, challenge assumptions, mentor team members, and lead strategic finance initiatives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of finance or related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• MBA or CPA preferred.
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL.
• Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results.

Responsibilities

• Build financial models and analyses with minimal guidance to drive results and improvements.
• Partner with Regional Finance Manager to develop weekly and monthly reviews, forecasting, and reporting models.
• Identify and resolve data integrity issues and collaborate with stakeholders on resolutions.
• Propose controls and solutions addressing risk from business, policy, and regulatory changes.
• Create effective business partnership, manage competing priorities, and guide during unexpected events.
• Identify opportunities to resolve finance issues and improve tools, technology, and processes.
• Understand data flow in financial platforms and establish a source of truth.
• Simplify and centralize process improvements and reporting for quick action.
• Lead complex problem solving for strategic decisions and design new reporting/modeling.
