Amazon’s North American Customer Fulfillment (NACF) Finance is seeking a Principal Finance professional to tackle strategic challenges, build predictive models from diverse data, and deploy automated solutions that forecast insights for senior leadership driving decisions affecting millions of customers globally.

You will lead complex analyses, influence senior stakeholders, and optimize finance tools, processes, and technology across teams in a fast-paced environment with substantial growth

Qualifications

• 8+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science)
• MBA, or CPA
• Experience in a leadership position managing finance, accounting and operational processes
• 7+ years of spearheading strategic cross-functional initiatives that deliver measurable financial results and advance organizational objectives
• 7+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy
• 7+ years of finance technology, forecast & budgeting, or other finance-focused competency experience
• Experience with Tableau, Python, SQB, Quicksight, Cognos or or other BI packages

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic financial analyses and models to solve complex challenges facing the business, using solid financial knowledge and business acumen with minimal guidance to deliver actionable recommendations
• Influence business owners and senior leaders through data-driven recommendations, supporting strategic decision-making across the organization
• Identify and implement opportunities to resolve finance issues, improve, scale, or simplify finance tools, technology, and processes across teams and organizations
• Negotiate priorities and resources across multiple teams to facilitate timely and high-quality solutions while maintaining the highest standards of financial controllership
