Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Finance Manager for AWS Data Center Planning and Delivery to drive financial planning and analysis for data center designs and initiatives. You will partner with Design Engineering, Innovation and Controls teams, provide recommendations, and forecast financial risks and opportunities.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly/annual reviews, while ensuring compliance with controls and building scalable processes for a fast-growing, global business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in finance, accounting, or related analytical field.
• 5+ years dissecting financial data to inform strategy.
• 5+ years leading cross-functional initiatives driving financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering and design teams to provide financial recommendations for data center designs.
• Develop ad-hoc analyses and present recommendations to AWS senior management.
• Manage financial planning and forecasting for metrics and risks.
• Report on financial performance weekly, monthly, and annually.
• Ensure controls and processes scale with global AWS growth.
