Amazon.com Services LLC in Dallas seeks a Finance Manager on the Data Center Innovation Finance team to provide financial leadership for data center design and operations. You will partner with design engineering and controls to drive cost efficiency and robust financial planning across our global DC footprint.

You will build and refine financial models, forecast risks, and deliver insights that inform strategic decisions and capital investments in AWS data centers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance, accounting, or related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, tax, economics, or a related analytical field.
• 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience.
• 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the key business partner to the Design Engineering, Innovation and Controls teams working directly with AWS senior management and other internal stakeholders to provide financial recommendations on electrical and mechanical innovations that should be included in the next generation of data center designs.
• Develop ad-hoc business analysis and present recommendations to AWS senior management around design changes introduced to Colocation facilities and the DC capital improvement process.
• Manage the financial planning and analysis effort and forecast various metrics for financial risks and opportunities.
• Report on the financial performance and lead in the preparation of weekly, monthly and annual financial review.
• Monitor compliance with controls and systems, and developing new processes and controls to support the fast-growing, global AWS business.
