Job summary

Edelman is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial management for clients, including revenue recognition, reporting, forecasting, and compliance. The role may supervise Analysts or Interns and may act as the Business Manager on large projects, including contract and pricing negotiations.

Ideal candidates possess a Finance/Accounting degree with 5+ years of experience, or 6 years in lieu of a degree, and advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting with a minimum of five years of Finance or Accounting experience.
• In lieu of a degree, six years of Financial or Accounting experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Client Servicing
• Coordinate data collection for client audits
• Communicate with clients regarding budgets, billing, and accounts receivable issues
• Maintain catalog of required client reporting and ensure timely completion
• Financial Management and Planning
• Support account teams in pricing client proposals, responding to RFP/RFI’s and developing budgets
• Support negotiation of client and vendor contracts between clients/vendors and legal department
• Ensure that projects are managed in accordance with contracts; create summary sheets for account teams
• Ensure written client agreements are obtained and archived
• Assist account teams with monthly project budget to actual tracking and other required client reporting
• Review staffing utilization, realization, and capacity and communicate observations
