Job summary

Edelman is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to facilitate billing, financial analysis, and reporting for client portfolios. The role requires strong communication, client-service orientation, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will partner with project managers, oversee monthly revenue forecasting, billing processes, and adherence to budgets and statements of work. Excellent collaboration across account teams is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a repository of critical client information.
• Coordinate data collection for client audits.
• Prepare client management reporting and review profitability drivers with account teams.
• Guide Project Management and Account teams on monthly budget-to-actual tracking and reporting.
• Partner with Project Managers to prepare client budgets in line with statements of work.
• Review and approve Sourcing department service orders with oversight.
• Calculate and forecast monthly revenues based on active contracts and billings.
• Complete client fee, project, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Facilitate monthly billing between account staff and Billing and review billing reports.
• Review potential write-offs and elevate to Senior Finance Lead.
• Assist Project Managers with billing reviews and ensure service orders are processed timely.
• Review project request forms for compliance and upload into the system; process purchase orders.
• Run financial queries in response to staff requests; provide time and expense details to Project Managers.
• Review missing time reports weekly and follow up on outstanding submissions.
• Support ad hoc financial requests and projects as required.
• Provide ongoing feedback to junior staff and support their development.
