Abbott in Hollywood, FL, seeks a Finance Manager CALA to lead financial planning and performance management for the CALA Structural Heart region. You will partner with regional leadership to drive forecasting, reporting, and strategic initiatives, ensuring compliance and strong internal controls.

The role requires deep financial analysis, team leadership, and collaboration across Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain, and other functions. English proficiency is essential, with Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience across financial reporting, cost accounting, internal controls and procedures, and/or project management.
• Minimum 2+ years' experience managing teams (remote setup preferred).
• Professional proficiency in English required; Spanish proficiency is a differentiator.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to manage complex market dynamics.
• Experience in developing financial models and scenario planning according to operating needs and growth strategies.
• Strong leadership competencies to set vision and strategy, build and inspire, drive results.
• Excel/PowerPoint skills; HFM/Dodeca experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, enhancement, and execution of financial planning, forecasting, and performance management processes for senior leadership.
• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and integrity of results.
• Prepare financial analyses including income statement, working capital metrics, Capex reporting, and key drivers.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and analyze fluctuations with actionable insights for CFS.
• Establish internal controls across CALA to ensure regulatory and governance compliance.
• Serve as strategic finance partner to Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations and other teams.
• Lead regional budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and monitoring against plans.
• Drive financial and business performance analyses to support decision-making.
• Coach and mentor finance personnel to foster high performance and accountability.
• Validate quarterly and annual incentive compensation calculations and ensure accuracy of sales data.
• Act as trusted advisor to regional leadership, identifying opportunities for profitable growth.
