Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a seasoned financial professional to lead the department's accounting, payroll, and financial reporting functions. The role includes GL entries, AP/AR processing, budgeting, forecasting, and coordination with HMFP Finance for monthly close.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting or finance, extensive Excel skills, and experience with Concur and accounting systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. Master's degree preferred.
• Strong Excel experience and accounting/general ledger systems experience.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly accounting entries including general ledger entries, AP and AR activities.
• Review and authorize HMFP/APHMFP/Foundation check requests and Concur transactions.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and participate in monthly close meetings.
• Oversee revenue cycle policies and cash management across multiple locations.
• Develop, manage and monitor HMFP, APHMFP and Foundation Budgets and Forecasts.
