Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to coordinate and reconcile all financial aspects of its non-employed physician arrangements. The role interfaces with system and local finance leaders to ensure accurate reimbursement and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (Master’s or CPA a plus) and at least 5 years of accounting/finance experience, including 2+ years in physician arrangements within healthcare.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s degree or CPA certification a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with accounting for physician arrangements required within a hospital or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and reconcile financial aspects of BILH non-employed physician arrangements.
• Regularly reconcile expected reimbursement to non-employed physician groups against contracts and liabilities.
• Participate in meetings to monitor financial status of non-employed physician arrangements.
• Generate, distribute, and report on arrangements monthly, quarterly, or ad hoc.
• Coordinate financial information between System and Local finance leaders.
• Support accounting and reimbursement reconciliation for physician groups lease/purchased services.
• Assist in pro forma reviews and participate in relevant meetings/committees.
• All other duties as assigned.
