Job summary

Amazon's AWS Networking Infrastructure Finance team seeks a Finance Manager to own a critical cost allocation project, moving from legacy systems to a modern model that underpins AWS cost distribution across services. You will design and implement the methodology, collaborate with software teams to translate it into working systems, and ensure outputs meet business requirements with data integrity.

Qualifications

5+ years dissecting financial data to support business strategy.
5+ years leading cross-functional initiatives driving financial performance.
5+ years in tax, finance or a related analytical field.
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or related analytical field.
Experience building financial and operational reports for decision-making.
Experience improving controllership with measurable results.
5+ years identifying data quality issues and creating escalation plans.
5+ years delivering financial models and recommendations with impact.
MBA or CPA.
Knowledge of SQL/ETL.
Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and financial systems (Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).

Responsibilities

Design and implement the cost allocation methodology for the Border Rate Card model.
Collaborate with software teams to translate the allocation methodology into functional systems.
Consolidate and manage planning inputs from all border network layers.
Identify and implement automation opportunities using AI tools to streamline planning and reporting.
Develop clear and concise financial narratives for senior leaders to inform decision-making.
