Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a seasoned Finance Manager to partner with CTET, AI.x, and OCTO, leading FP&A, monthly close, forecasting, and variance analysis.

You will translate technology priorities into budgets, build scenario models, and deliver clear leadership commentary while identifying cost efficiency opportunities and supporting GenAI initiatives.

Hybrid work model available; strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in Finance.
• Deep understanding of internally developed software capitalization accounting and governance.
• Systems thinker with proven experience modernizing cross-functional financial processes and champion of GenAI capabilities.
• Proactive, self-starter, able to manage and deliver multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A for CTET, AI.x, and OCTO, including monthly close, forecasting, annual planning, and variance analysis.
• Partner with technology leaders to translate business priorities into budgets and forecasts.
• Build financial models to support scenario planning, business cases, and investment decisions.
• Deliver clear monthly reporting and leadership commentary, including key risks and opportunities.
• Partner with Accounting on accruals and internally developed software capitalization.
• Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and simplify planning and reporting processes, including through GenAI.
• Perform ad hoc analysis on business and technology trends and their expense impact.
