CASPA invites applications for a part-time Finance Manager to join the senior leadership team. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial controls, support strategic decisions and supervise the Finance Assistant in a hybrid role based near Bromley.
The role covers payroll, audit preparation and charity compliance, with a focus on accurate reporting and risk management. Experience with charity fund accounting and Gift Aid is desirable.
CASPA supports autistic people to develop life skills and build safe, inclusive community connections. This Finance Manager joins the senior leadership team, advising the CEO and trustees and strengthening the charity’s financial operations.
You will bring at least two years of relevant experience, strong financial communication skills and the confidence to work independently and with a small team. Experience of budgets, forecasting, staff supervision and accounting software is important.
The person specification covers charity fund accounting, Gift Aid, VAT and SORP, alongside Microsoft Office skills. Accountancy qualifications, charity-sector experience, trustee presentations and knowledge of autism or SEND are desirable. CASPA particularly welcomes applicants with lived experience of neurodivergence.
21 hours weekly, Monday-Friday; a one-year fixed-term contract with potential extension. Bromley office attendance and local travel are required, with homeworking available. The current CharityJob advert specifies Tuesday office attendance. Occasional out-of-hours work may be needed.
Actual annual salary £16,800-£19,600; advertised FTE £30,000-£35,000, depending on experience.
