Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is seeking a Finance Analyst for a part-time, permanent role in Ashford. You will support the CFO and Senior Finance Officer with monthly management reporting and budget control.

Work will involve coordinating financial systems and processes, implementing improvements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory, audit and funding requirements. Part-time hours are 8am-4pm, three days per week.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (AAT Level 4 or equivalent) required.
• Experience in a finance environment desirable, ideally in education or charity-funded setting.

Job Title: Finance Analyst (Part Time)

Job Type: Part Time/Permanent - 3 Days per week, 8am - 4pm)

Salary: £21,758 per annum

Location: Ashford

Job Purpose:

• As a Financial Analyst, you will be a key member of the finance team, working closely with the CFO and Senior Finance Officer to provide financial support to budget holders and senior leaders across the organisation.
• You will be expected to take a strategic view of the finance function, while maintaining a hands-on approach to deliver effective monthly management reporting and strong budgetary control.
• Manage and coordinate the organisation's financial systems, processes, and projects, including recommending and implementing system and process improvements.
• Coordinate and control finance processes in line with internal financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory, audit, and funding requirements (as applicable).
