DC Greens seeks a Finance Manager to lead and complete the organization’s core financial responsibilities while supporting participatory financial accountability. This role is responsible for completing bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, budgeting, reporting, audit coordination, compliance, and financial planning tasks. The Finance Manager helps ensure sound financial management, transparency, and effective internal support across the organization. The ideal candidate has nonprofit finance experience, strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of financial regulations and standards.

DC Greens is located in Washington, D.C. This position is primarily remote. Employees must be available to attend in-person meetings and events throughout the year. DC Greens does not reimburse travel expenses for meetings or events for individuals traveling from outside the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area.
This is a regular, full-time, salaried, exempt position. DC Greens’ salaries are set using a pay equity process tool. This process was implemented by the organization in 2019 and utilizes social justice principles to equitably compensate staff. The salary is $89,400 to $94,600 commensurate with experience and non‑negotiable. A generous benefits package includes medical/dental/vision, disability/life insurance, 25 days of paid time off (prorated based on start date), parental and bereavement leave, an employer match on retirement contributions once eligible, and a flexible work schedule.
