Job summary

DeWinter Group in San Jose is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee FP&A, budgeting, and financial controls during a critical transition. This temporary role offers a hybrid schedule (Tue-Thu on site) and a chance to drive accurate financial insights across departments.

Finance Manager

Join a dynamic team in San Jose as a Finance Manager and play a pivotal role in driving financial operations for a leading organization. This temporary but impactful position offers an opportunity to lead critical FP&A activities, manage budgeting, and optimize process efficiencies during a key period of transition. With a hybrid work model (Tues-Thurs), you'll collaborate across departments to ensure precise financial insights and controls, supporting strategic decision-making and operational excellence.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in financial management, FP&A, or accounting
• Strong proficiency in financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting
• Excellent partnership and communication skills to work with sales, operations, and cross-functional teams
• Ability to develop dashboards and enhance financial reporting tools (e.g., Tableau)
• Strong understanding of SOX controls and financial compliance

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience supporting audits and financial controls
• Automation and process improvement skills
• Experience with advanced financial tools and software

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• At least 5 years of relevant financial management experience
• Experience in high-tech or SaaS environments is a plus
