Job summary

Pathways to Community is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance team and ensure accurate data for decision making. You will oversee bookkeeping, payroll backups, bank activity, and accounts payable while maintaining compliance with state requirements.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of management experience, a related degree, and strong Excel/QuickBooks skills. The role is primarily in-office with some flexibility for remote work as needed.

Qualifications

• Preferred degree in related field.
• Two to four years managing employees.
• Strong Excel and QuickBooks experience.
• Experience in the Human Services field and 245D preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the daily activities of the finance team.
• Bookkeeping for Artisan and PTC; data entry into QuickBooks.
• Payroll processing backup; review and approve payroll files.
• Accounts payable processing and vendor relations.
• Compliance with 245D requirements.

We are looking for a self-motivated, detailed, organized, numbers loving person. Our ideal Finance Manger will contribute to the success of our organization by providing accurate and insightful data; which can then be used to make sound business decisions, drive action, and improve profitability to move PTC forward.

Finance Manager Primary Job Duties:

• Coordinate and manage the daily activities of the finance team, including the Accounting Specialist and the Payroll and Benefits Specialist.
• Bookkeeping for Artisan and PTC. Data entry into QuickBooks.
• Complete grocery funds accounting and bank transfers.
• Prepare and complete deposits.
• Monitor all bank accounts for activity and balances daily.
• Payroll: back up for processing payroll; review and approve payroll files; prepare deductions and liabilities.
• Assist with Accounts Payable preparation.
• Complete employee reimbursements and accidental purchases.
• Updating Zillow mortgages
• 1099s
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors. Process and record accounts payable.
• Other finance projects as assigned
• Compliance with 245D.

Finance Manager Qualifications:

• Preferred degree in related field, two to four years’ experience in a similar position.
• Two to four years managing employees.
• Creative and strategic thinking skills.
• Experience in the Human Services field and 245D preferred.
• Strong experience with income statement analysis and advanced skills with Excel, Microsoft, Outlook, and QuickBooks.
• Experience with payroll and billing processes.
• Ability to pass and maintain required trainings, as required by 245D.
• Meet the licensing, contractual, & other mandated requirements of the state.
• Possess a valid driver’s license, proof of liability insurance and a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to pass criminal/registry background check.
• Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetic services that will enable these senses to function adequately.
• Ability to read, write and speak English at a level that meets the performance requirements.

Working Conditions

Although this position is primarily Monday through Friday, it is subject to flexible hours and varied hours depending on coverage needs of the organization. While performing the duties of this job, the employee works mostly in an office setting. There may be times when the employee is required to attend meetings or work remotely.

Annual Salary and Benefits:

Salary Range: $55,000-$65,000
