Job summary

Headfarmer seeks a Finance Manager to own the full P&L for a regional portfolio in Phoenix, reporting to the Finance Director. This high-visibility FP&A role partners with executive leadership and supports lenders and the board.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, monthly close, and complex financial modeling, translating data into actionable insights. You’ll drive process improvements and mentor junior analysts as the FP&A function matures.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive finance/FP&A experience, ideally with exposure to companies in the $150M-$800M revenue range.
• Strong financial modeling and full P&L forecasting experience - not just revenue or headcount planning.
• A self-starter who thrives with autonomy and doesn't need heavy oversight.
• Sharp analytical instincts paired with genuine curiosity and strong follow-through.
• Comfort presenting to and influencing senior and executive stakeholders.
• Private equity-backed company experience is a plus, but not required.

The Opportunity

This is an individual contributor role with real weight behind it. As Finance Manager, you'll own the full P&L for an assigned region, acting as a true business partner to operational and executive leadership rather than just a report-builder. While there are no direct reports, you'll carry a high level of accountability - fielding questions directly from senior leadership and serving as a strong right hand to the Finance Director. You'll lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close narrative for your area, build and refine financial models that hold up to real-world scrutiny, and translate complex data into clear, actionable insight for decision-makers - including input that shapes conversations with lenders and the board. You'll also help elevate reporting processes and mentor junior analysts as the FP&A function matures.
