Job summary

Wynshop, Inc. seeks a hands-on Finance Manager to support accounting operations, close, billing, revenue accounting, reporting, and internal controls.

This manager-level role requires strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced SaaS environment. This remote role welcomes applicants nationwide, with preference for candidates in Florida, California, Texas, Virginia, or Vermont.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial processes.
• Experience with ASC 606 and SaaS revenue accounting.
• Excellent organization, communication and problem solving.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting management including billing, tax documentation, and close.
• Manage month-end close, journal entries, invoices and reconciliations.
• Oversee SaaS, services, renewals, and revenue-share invoicing.
• Prepare ASC 606 revenue entries and deferred revenue accounting.
• Prepare the monthly reporting package and assist audits.
• Develop internal controls and process improvements.

About the Role

Wynshop is looking for a hands‑on Finance Manager to support our accounting operations, financial close, billing, revenue accounting, reporting, and internal controls. You will work closely with the Finance team and other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information. This is a manager‑level role requiring strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

This is a remote role open to all candidates. However, preference will be given to applicants located in Florida, California, Texas, Virginia, or Vermont.

What You Will be Doing:

• Support accounting management, including billing, tax documentation, and financial close
• Manage month‑end close activities, journal entries, invoices, and account reconciliations
• Oversee SaaS, services, renewals, and revenue‑share invoicing and billing
• Prepare ASC 606 revenue entries and account for deferred revenue and unbilled accounts receivable
• Complete services revenue accounting, including the Fixed Fee Report
• Verify invoice delivery and prepare Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) fluctuation analysis
• Manage intercompany billing, reconciliations, and settlements
• Prepare the month‑end reporting package and perform final checks and balances
• Assist with financial statements, budgets, forecasts, annual audits, and management reporting
• Support cash forecasting and journal‑entry review and approval
• Help develop internal controls, accounting policies, and process improvements
• Identify and resolve accounting inaccuracies or account imbalances
• Complete other accounting and finance activities as required.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

• At least five years of relevant accounting or finance experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial processes, including closing, billing, budgeting, and reporting
• Experience with ASC 606 and SaaS or services revenue accounting
• Strong Excel and accounting‑system skills
• Excellent organization, communication, and problem‑solving abilities
• High attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• CPA or another professional accounting certification is a plus
